STUFF I Like
I've been lucky enough to work with some awesome folks over the years. If you enjoy the never-ending pile of crap I produce, you may also dig the endeavors of these fine artists too.
I've performed with Th [sic] Sense since 2010, and they did quite a bit to help shape my sense of humor. I didn't curse during shows before I first saw them, and look at me now! Swear words every twelve seconds. Th [sic] Sense can be found at their new home in Phoenix, Arizona. Take note: Their shows are not for the easily offended.
The Cosmonauts are an up-and-coming sketch comedy troupe that has been kind enough to let me work with them consistently since 2014. The cast is relentlessly side-splitting, and I've gone out of my way to attend their rehearsals because of how insanely fun they are to be around. Their current home is the Tempe Center Of The Arts, and their shows are absolutely worth the trip.
Phoenix's Great Arizona Puppet Theater has allowed me to perform at their Adult Puppet Slam shows since 2012. The Adult Puppet Slam, which takes place on the first Friday and Saturday of roughly eight months each year, feature puppetry-based vignettes geared specifically toward adult viewers. As I am not a puppeteer, I perform my stand up there so people can comment on how lifelike I look.
Mad Kitchen is heralded as "the internet's first character-driven comedy cooking show". Rife with videos of savory foods and unsavory characters, it's delightfully entertaining and subversive (and the creator and many of the stars happen to be friends of mine). They're also constantly filming new episodes, so be sure to check back over there often.
